valuable blog posts

Not the freshest ones but still the first two highly interesting blog posts I read in 2007.

First, we have Philips’ Paul Zeven on CNet with the highly memorable quote (but in fact his whole text is highly interesting):
Rather than simplifying our daily routines, most technology has actually made our lives more complex.

Second there is a post on The dumbness of the crowd which so nicely explains why I look up to Apple ft. Steve Jobs/Jonathan Ive, the principal of the designer guru and despise compromises. Of course – as explained so nicely in the post – the collective intelligence can be harvested if someone is smart enough and cares.
