capoira

Yesterday was not just the second day of the new term (I’m still tired of the jet-lag from getting up in the middle of the night at 0800) but also the first time I went to Capoeira training. It was serious fun and even more seriously exhausting. I there realised how badly trained I became the last months studying. Time to strike back and Capoeira seems to be the right thing for that. The group I was training with was fun and easygoing so that one is not pushed too hard. Since I do sports as recreation I do not like too ambitious training groups in any sport. This here seems fun, so that I plan to exhaust my body on next Tuesday evening again. :) — read more ›

holiday!

Finally, the days of writing are over (5 papers within 4 days) and I have a weekend of holiday before the new term will start – I am actually looking forward working with Gustaf as long as he does not mention “UbiComp” ;). Too bad that the weekend is mostly already over again. Hmm. At least I managed to read and answer my mails, read about the new MacBook Pro and also otherwise get some things sorted…. :) — read more ›

should be working

Arrived back in GBG on Thursday evening after a nice trip to my parents. Feels nice to be home again. Met already some of my friends here and studies also need some time (deadlines in the next days – waaah!). Unfortunately I bought myself a new camera (Canon EOS 350D) to have a non-study life as well. Christian said that each year there must be one thing you buy that is not desperately needed and too expensive. So this was mine for 2006. So instead of writing papers, essays and home exams I spent the weekend taking pictures (and post-processing them). The results can be seen via the “pictures” link on the left hand side. — read more ›
